A cooperative tactical card game for 1-2 players. In Kinfire Delve: Callous's Laboratory, you'll battle through the Pit's deck of challenge cards until you reach Callous, the Pit Master, and face him in an epic final battle.

GAMEPLAY

The Pit of Callous is made up of four challenge cards, with Callous in the center. Each time a challenge is overcome, it is replaced by another, for a total of 52 challenge cards.

When facing a challenge, you may only play one ability card from your hand that matches the color of the challenge card. This means that if you face a red card, you may only play a red ability card. Some cards have two colors, and others are white, or wild.

If the card you play doesn't defeat the challenge, you may partially advance and try again, although you may suffer a penalty. Other Seekers can help you by playing one of their own cards as a reinforcement, but beware: running out of cards will earn you an Exhaustion card before you can draw a new hand. Exhaustion cards are never good, although some are worse than others.

Overcoming a challenge will reward you with, for example, restoring health or going deeper into the Pit, represented by discarding unseen challenge cards. Once you reach the bottom of the Pit, you'll face Callous directly. All Seekers share a pool of health, and if it reaches zero, you'll be defeated. This is a game that requires teamwork.
