Welcome to the wacky universe of Wonderland, where anything can come true.

Hats is a beautiful and colorful card game set in the universe created by Lewis Carroll. It is a title with simple rules created by Gabriele Bubola and wonderfully illustrated by Paolo Voto.

The mad hatter has just invited you to have tea with him.

He has made an appointment for you at exactly five in the afternoon. You know he doesn't like delays at all.

-Sugar? -offers you a cup of tea while he makes a strange face- Quick, decide! We do not have time…

Sugar, tea, cookies... And a lot of hats flying around you?

The mad hatter smiles at you.

-It's time to play a game!

In Hats, between two and four players compete for the best cards by exchanging the ones in their hand with the ones on the table. Each card modifies the way in which each hat is scored, so you will have to be very careful when choosing which ones will best suit your strategy.

With very simple rules and enough depth to appeal to the most demanding players, Hats offers ease of play and a good dose of strategy.

Each player starts with nine cards in hand. On your turn you can:

Exchange hats, playing a single card from your hand, face up, to exchange it for another of the same color as the table... Or to exchange it for any other card of lesser value.

Create a black hat by playing a single card face down to add it to your collection as a black hat. Each black hat provides one victory point at the end of the game.

In addition, you can take an optional action: at any time during your turn you can discard a card to draw another from the draw deck.

At the end of the game you will get victory points for the hat cards in your collection, for the favorite hat you saved for last and for the last cookie left on the table.
