King Renly's alliance with House Tyrell through his marriage to Lady Margaery has made the famous riders of Highgarden available to Renly. While their armor isn't as thick as most heavy cavalry, that doesn't stop Highgarden's celebrated riders from unleashing the devastating charges that characterize such units. However, as happens to the common cavalry troops, their weakness lies in staying locked in prolonged combat. A sensible commander will pay special attention to making the most of the flanking abilities and the remarkable speed of Highgarden's horsemen to attack the enemy's unprotected flanks.
