Summit: The Board Game is a survival game that, thanks to its double-sided board and variable mechanics, can be played competitively, cooperatively, or solo. In a competitive game, players climb and descend the deadly mountain while managing their resources, building their path, overcoming obstacles, and trying to outlast the competition. Summit uses a unique karma system that allows players to actively help or harm their opponents, but also affects the final score. For a few extra points, you can share some of your precious food or oxygen, or perhaps you can afford to lose a few points and choose to cut their rope and watch them disappear down the mountain. In a cooperative or solo game, players must work together to overcome the mountain and survive the expedition. Summit is such a grueling game that you only need one team member to survive the ascent and descent, so players can sacrifice themselves for the good of the team. The mountain features a "Sherpa Clue" and a "Time of Day Clue," in addition to an entirely new deck of cards. It's unlikely everyone will return from this expedition. With over 190 unique cards, nearly 100 tokens, unique resource management and tracking on double-layered asymmetrical player mats, and the ability to customize game difficulty and length, Summit ensures you'll never play the same game twice!
