Akropolis: Pantheon (Spanish)

Rivalries are a thing of the past! At the height of their glory, cities that once clashed now join forces to build a magnificent capital and honor the gods. This expansion for *Akropolis*—which requires the base game—transforms the experience into a cooperative challenge, tasking players with surpassing a target score. Erect splendid divine altars dedicated to the capital's protectors and let their aura shine across the ancient world.

*Pantheon* is the second expansion for *Akropolis*; it invites players to collaborate on building a grand city and achieving the highest possible score through strategic play. The box includes three scenarios—Corinth, Sparta, and Athens—each offering a different level of difficulty.

Each player receives a starting tile, while the remaining tiles form the heart of the capital, located in the center of the play area. Three Architectural Challenge tiles are revealed, along with their corresponding divine altars. Players also receive two stone cubes and three city tiles, which they hold in their hand like cards. Unlike the base game, there is no river.

On their turn, a player can either add a tile to their own city to complete an Architectural Challenge and acquire a Divine Altar, or contribute to the construction of the Capital by placing their tile in the center of the play area—earning points at the end of the game. Completing a Challenge allows a player to place a Divine Altar in the Capital. In this expansion, tile spaces function differently: for a space to count at the end of the game, an Altar must have been built in honor of Hestia, Hermes, Ares, Zeus, or Demeter, depending on the space's color.

The game ends once all city tiles have been played, but only Capital spaces adorned with a Divine Altar count toward the final score. So, how is victory determined? By comparing the final score with the target score of the chosen Scenario. Managing the Stones, coordinating their placement, and anticipating the Challenges will be essential elements for winning.
