The King of the Ribauds (French/English)

Le Roy des Ribauds is an adaptation of the famous comic book by Vincent Brugeas and Ronan Toulhoat. At the start, each player is dealt a hand of 3 cards, and a row of 4 cards is created face down, called the Court. There are 4 types of cards: King, Queen, Knight, and Rogue. On their turn, a player may either turn over a Court card, revealing it, or play a card from their hand to replace a card already in the Court. The player may turn their card face up, activating its effect, or face down. Each card type has its own effect, and the King, Queen, and Rogue have their own victory conditions, called conspiracies. Be the first to fulfill one of these conspiracies to win the game! Le Roy des Ribauds is a tense and strategic, yet deceptively simple, card game that will allow you to immerse yourself in the rich universe of medieval France.
