Celts (Multilingual)

The Celts (from Latin Celta, plural celtae) were an early Indo-European people who, from the 2nd millennium BC to the 1st century BC, spread across much of Europe. Their tribes and groups eventually spread from the British Isles and Portugal to Transylvania, the Black Sea coasts, and Galatia in Anatolia, and were partially absorbed into the Roman Empire as Britons, Gauls, Boii, Galatians, Celtiberians, and Lusitanians.
