Welcome to New Orleans, Louisiana, circa 1980: a vibrant city of music, food, and magic. Neon lights flicker over grimy puddles along Bourbon Street, the advances of the modern world collide with ancient and terrible traditions, and murder is never simple. The Beaumont Agency, made up of a group of brilliant, eccentric, and deeply flawed private detectives, specializes in solving the cases no one else can.
The Dark Quarter is an app-driven cooperative adventure game set in a dark and fantastical vision of 1980s New Orleans. Each player takes control of a Beaumont Agency agent and works alongside others to solve the most gruesome crimes the city has to offer. It's a world filled with magic, where curses are sold on every corner, voodoo priestesses and night creatures lurk around every nook and cranny, and even the most mundane crimes have a supernatural undertone. Through multi-scenario campaigns, the game tells a rich and dynamic story, inviting players to make key decisions that will not only affect their characters, but also change the course of the story. Characters are not simply interchangeable avatars between games; they are an essential part of the narrative fabric. Their fates and those of New Orleans are deeply intertwined.
