The jagged mountain peaks of Yunnan have begun to turn green with a peculiar plant. Rumors spread of its miraculous properties, capable of healing the body and invigorating the soul. It's no wonder its cultivation is rapidly spreading to other provinces. Following the emperor's request, master farmers converge to establish a plantation of this marvelous plant in the valleys of the Yangtze River. And a special reward awaits the most skilled of all: the promise of fertile land in the coveted province of Yunnan.

Tea Gardens elegantly and organically combines deck-building, resource management, and action resolution mechanics. Using action cards, you'll build tea gardens in different provinces, study at the university, harvest and ferment tea, trade with caravans for valuable resources, and navigate the Yangtze River. With quick turns and simple rules, Tea Gardens offers a wide variety of game options.

The unique mechanism of ripening harvested tea, in which fresh tea loses quality while fermented tea increases it, and the ability to combine primary and secondary actions make this strategy game's replayability unlimited.
