Samurai

It runs the year 1336. The emperor has lost all his authority and is little more than a guest to the court. Throughout the country have been raised powerful lords called daimyo who have begun to claim dominion of the land and its resources. But the true path to power lies in the noble elite warriors known as samurai.

In Samurai, players assume the role of power-thirsty daimyos who want to control Japan. By gaining the loyalty of other lesser lords, seizing the main rice crops of the land, and exchanging favors with religious leaders, players can grow their mastery and gather the samurai they will need to consolidate their longing for conquest.

Travel to a Japan ravaged by clashes. Show that you have the wisdom to win the esteem of the samurai and you will unite a nation!
