The lowlands, located on the coast of the Sea North, are a difficult land and always threatened by sudden floods. The inhabitants must face the decision of sending their workers to build new dams to protect their land, or raise sheep and expand their farms. Without dams, they may lose everything they own, but without sheep, they have nothing to lose.

In Lowlands, each player will own a small farm by the sea You will build dams to protect your land from flooding, expand your sheep farm with the help of your workers, and raise sheep for a living. However, with the constant threat of sea floods, you will have to collaborate in the tasks of expanding the dam and you may even have to put these tasks before your personal goals, since a flood could have negative consequences for everyone.

The object of the game is to expand your farm and raise sheep. You will also have to help improve and maintain the dam, as a flood would affect all players. In this way, you will have to get as many victory points as you can. Both housing a good number of sheep and helping to build the dam are worth points, but the number of points you get for it will depend on how the game goes.

Can you find the balance between making the most of the economic benefit of your farm, and the safety of building dikes to avoid the terrible floods of the coast. Are you prepared to face the storm? And above all, will the dam hold up when the final storm breaks and the tide rises above sea level? The player who best plans and manages their resources and actions will win!
