In the summer of 2018, Jamey Stegmaier challenged Scythe fans around the world to design 32 new encounter cards. The result was an outpouring of creativity that Jamey distilled, revised, and enhanced.

This expansion for Scythe adds 32 encounter cards with unique options and secret abilities, adding variety to games. Although these cards can and should be shuffled with the other encounter cards, we recommend that you play a few games with just this deck, without looking at it first.
