Reykholt

REYKHOLT

Reykholt is the new game of Uwe Rosenberg, a thrilling competition for being the best farmer set in the beautiful Icelandic landscapes.

In Iceland, you can climb volcanoes, contemplate the northern lights, count sheep and eat their delicious tomatoes. Thanks to geothermal energy, Iceland is a plant paradise. The players take the role of vegetable farmers who build their livelihood in beautiful Iceland. But with all the tourism that goes to see the natural wonders, the competition to have the best vegetables is fierce.

The tourist season is very short in Reykholt and you will have to hurry to be the first to bring to the market the exotic Icelandic vegetables that fascinate tourists. If you deliver the orders before your rivals you can win the race for being the best farmer in Reykholt.

The game uses the usual mechanical placement of workers so typical of the author but in this case it takes place in the form of a career. Each turn we will make deliveries of vegetables in different combinations that will allow us to move forward on a track. The player who at the end of the game has advanced more will be the winner.

Reykholt allows games of 2 to 4 players, solo games and also introduces a new story mode where we will take the role of newcomers to Reykholt who seek to form a new home overcoming the challenges that will arise.
