Emporion

A game of Greek exploration and conquest.

From the remote Asian poleis of Hellas they cross the Greek ships sailed the seas to establish new enclaves and trade routes in the Mediterranean.

Expeditions of Phocaean settlers reach the Iberian coast, where they will found Emporion, the first Greek poleis on the peninsula, where they will settle together the Iberian peoples, such as the Indiketes, and will compete for commercial hegemony against the Phoenicians.

How prosperous will be the city that these pioneers build? Will they be able to found an empire that will last through the centuries?

Lasting around 45 minutes and with a careful set collection mechanic, it is a game for casuals and gamers beautifully illustrated by Ricardo Jurado, based on in constructions and real objects of the time.
