U.S. Telegraph

Workers are finishing up the last sections of the telegraph line that will be part of the first high-speed connection service between California and the rest of the United States: “The Transcontinental Telegraph” (or “US Telegraph”). This titanic project strong>, initiated on September 20, 1860 by the Western Union Telegraph Company, will revolutionize communications and promote the development of the towns of the central and eastern United States.

As captains of investment companies, you will participate in the development and expansion of your hometowns (Denver, Omaha, Sacramento or Salt Lake City) in the creation of the telegraphic route. You will do this by financing new Construction Projects for important buildings, new sections of the route and, of course, part of the Transcontinental Telegraph.

A game is made up of a number of variable rounds in which the players carry out their turn in a clockwise direction. On your turn, you must choose between drawing or building buildings, after which you will draw resource cards. Buildings have different construction costs. The first player to build all 30 of their buildings on the central board, or to connect two major cities with a single unbroken settlement wins.
