Bitcoin Hackers is played in a series of turns, in which each player, when he is the active player, must play a card from his hand that meets the requirement established by the card from the code deck. This requirement will be a number from 1 to 9, with a positive or negative sign. The sign indicates whether the next player must play a card with a value lower or higher than the card number. If the player manages to fulfill that requirement, the newly played card establishes a new requirement in addition to a new active player: count to the left (negative sign) or right (positive sign) as many players as the number of the played card. Now, that player must meet the new requirement. If it was the last card in the player's hand, the player gets an access card, draws new cards, and the game continues. The game continues until a player gets their third access card.

The game has 3 game modes: basic, advanced or expert level. At the basic level, only the signs and numbers of the cards are taken into account, ignoring the special effects that some of them have.
