Bonfire

Bonfires are sources of light, energy and heat created by the keepers of light to illuminate the cities of a planet on another dark side. City residents, however, took it for granted that bonfires would always be there and exploited them for personal gain. The guardians of the light, disappointed, withdrew and allowed the fires to burn out. Citizens were unable to live in the now dark cities and were forced to leave.

In Bonfire, you will play a group of gnomes who live near cities and who also need the light of bonfires. You will try to go to the cities and learn how to light the bonfires again: you must visit the guardians of light on their sacred islands to complete tasks that prove your worth. For each completed task, they will relight an extinct bonfire. Who best manages the great truth of the guardians and enlightens his city the most will be the winner.

The main mechanism of the game are 3-color tiles that you will place on your personal board. When you manage to place the same adjacent color, you will receive more specific action tiles. This will allow you to specialize in certain types of actions and perform different strategies:

You can use the tiles to perform the following actions:

    Move your ship to an island
    Receive a commission from an island by spending 2 resources
    Invite a guardian of light to your city
    Unleash a Guardian Parade to obtain resources
    Add a landscape tile to your city (where the parades are held)
    Recruit a gnome by obtaining a special ability or victory points
    Find the support of the last bonfire, earning portals, resources or action tiles.

It is played in turn order until a number of orders are fulfilled, after which each player has 5 more turns. During the final score, you will receive points for completed assignments (bonfires) and for any improvements made (portals, landscapes and guardians).
