The Whisper of the Leaves is a new game for 2 to 6 players, originally published in 2020. Designed by Paolo Mori, creator of other titles such as Ethnos or Vasco de Gama. The illustrations are by Elli Jäger, an illustrator who makes her debut in the world of board games. The Whisper of the Sheets is based on the mechanics of "roll & write", in which we must roll two dice and record the results on a sheet of paper. The numbers on the dice reveal the extent of boxes you can mark.

The great novelty of The Whisper of the Leaves is that there are four types of leaves to play with. Each of these types is related to one of the four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter.

The types of leaves emulate the changes that occur in each of the seasons, from the type of animals, the climate, the state of the leaves to the flowering of the plants.

The game recommends starting with Spring before venturing into the other seasons. The two dice are placed together and a sheet of the chosen station is distributed to each of the players, who take a pen or pencil to be able to mark the corresponding boxes. The last player to be in the forest is the starting player. He chooses one of the squares with an orange sheet to start the tour, and each of the players chooses another different sheet in order, in such a way that each one starts from a different point.

The starting player rolls the two dice, each player draws an area of ​​the rolled dice on their game sheet with this result. If you have rolled 2 and 3, for example, you have to draw a 3x2 grid on the game sheet, this can be 3 in length and 2 in width or also 2 in length and 3 in width: each player can freely choose how they want draw it. Then you need to choose a symbol in this area and check all the symbols that are the same. For example, if there are two butterflies in this area, you can mark them. Then you need to write this result in the grade marker
