Atiwa (German)

Atiwa is a challenging worker placement game with resource management by Uwe Rosenberg. Players take on the role of fruit growing families who live on the edge of a Ghanaian forest reserve and keep fruit bats as 'pets'. The beneficial animals spread the seeds of fruits, not only helping to reforest fallow fields, but also helping to improve harvests.

In Atiwa, players build a community by helping H 'er set up for families and share their newly acquired knowledge about the positive effect that fruit bats have on the environment with their fellow human beings. They have to be careful with their animals and resources. Whoever best meets the needs of their own community and the environment wins.
