Libertalia: Winds of Galecrest

In the world of Galecrest, sky pirates set sail on the wind in search of adventure, treasure and glory. As an admiral, you command a large and varied crew… just like your rivals, who sail on other ships in the pirate fleet. Each day the fleet docks at a different island, where you'll send a crewman to collect your share of the loot in the hope that they'll return to power up your growing party of characters.
Libertalia was originally published in 2012. Ten years later, we celebrate the anniversary of the original design with a revised and expanded edition that includes a renewed graphic section, 40 characters for each player, a reputation system to solve tiebreakers, loot tokens deluxe, a robust solo mode and much more.
A game of Libertalia takes place over 3 trips (or rounds). Each journey begins with each player receiving an identical set of 6 Character cards. Every day during the trip, each player simultaneously chooses 1 Character from his hand. Those Characters are placed on the island from lowest to highest rank (Reputation breaks ties). Those Characters' Day abilities activate in ascending order;then Twilight abilities and Booty selection are activated in descending order, after which the Characters board each player's ship. Finally, the Night abilities of the Characters that are on the ships are activated.
At the end of a journey, each player will activate their Characters' Anchor abilities and gain their Loot and Doubloon tokens. He then discards the Characters, Loot tokens, and Doubloons, keeping only the unplayed Characters. At the end of the third voyage, the final scores are compared to determine who will go down in history as the richest pirate.
