Vampire The Masquerade Rivals Blood and Alchemy brings us cards for The Tremere and Thinbloods, two totally opposite Clans on the spectrum.

The Tremere are masters of Blood Magic, drawing incredible power from their Blood, while the Thinbloods must mix a plethora of chemicals with their near-living Blood to draw power from it.

You can play these two Clans against each other or simply integrate them with your core set to give you more options for combining Clans and creating new decks.

What is Vampire The Masquerade Rivals Blood and Alchemy about?

In this game you control a group of vampires that seeks to dominate the city of San Francisco. You do this by attacking your enemies, earning Titles, advancing your Objective, or hunting mortals, etc. Two of the most important concepts in this game are Prestige and Blood.
Prestige

These tokens are a resource and your power in the game. You use Prestige to recruit vampires, play certain cards, or gain Titles. Spend it wisely. If either player's Prestige drops to 0, the game ends.
Blood

In Vampire The Masquerade: Rivals, a vampire's Blood functions as her health. When a vampire takes damage, remove Blood from that vampire and place it in general supply. When a vampire is out of Blood, they go into Torpor (a deep sleep), but will come back… maybe.

How to win in Vampire Rivals.

The game ends when one player is eliminated or reaches 13 Objective points. There are 3 ways to win:

     You win if you are the first player to reach 13 Objective points.
     You win if you eliminate your Rival.
     You win if you have the most Objective points when an enemy is eliminated and none of the above victory conditions are met (eg Special Affairs Division or another player eliminates your Rival, etc.).

To eliminate an enemy, you must perform one of the following actions:

     Reduce your Prestige to 0.
     Defeat the last active vampire in your coterie.


What is the World of Darkness?

In Vampire The Masquerade: Rivals, you will enter a new world. The World of Darkness is similar to our world, but in the shadows dwell ancient and monstrous conspiracies. Imperishable creatures from the dawn of time manipulate the world, and their influence is felt everywhere. Mortals are ignorant victims and pawns of vast secret organizations ruled by supernatural beings. Vampires, among other creatures, fight each other. Unbeknownst to humans, these great feuds can go on for centuries.
