We Are Coming, Nineveh (Spanish)

A tactical/operational game entirely in Spanish that reflects the Iraqi Government's campaign to liberate the city of Mosul from Daesh forces between February 19 and July 9, 2017

One of the largest and most difficult urban operations after World War II, which marked a significant defeat for Daesh and its self-proclaimed "Islamic State."

Daesh would make its last stand in the densely built-up old town in the western part of Mosul, divided into the zones represented on the game board.

The Iraqi army, forces from the Ministry of the Interior and the elite Counter-Terrorist Service would face the forces of the Islamic State in a grueling battle represented in approximately two-week shifts of grueling combat.

The game combines moderate complexity, being accessible for players facing a wargame for the first time, with a rich and detailed treatment of the battle that will immerse you in the conflict regardless of your experience in this type of game.

Unlike most games where there is a single measure of victory or defeat, Nineveh evaluates three key aspects of the campaign: the speed at which the operation is completed, the casualties suffered by Iraqi government forces, and the collateral damage caused to Mosul.

These victory conditions are secretly chosen at the beginning of the game by the players, so you have to deduce based on his actions what your opponent's preference will be, in order to deny him victory.
