Night falls on Tokyo. Two enormous silhouettes rise from the smoke rising from the destroyed skyscrapers, but only one of them will be crowned King of Tokyo, either annihilating their rival or inspiring terror and awe in the crowd. Created by the legendary Richard Garfield (Magic: The Gathering, The Hunger) and illustrated by Quentin Regnes, King of Tokyo Duel is a dice-based game for two players, ages 8 and up, from the King of Tokyo series. Choose your monster with unique powers and roll new dice to attract the tokens of fame and destruction to yourself... Or crush your opponent with new special power cards to become the ultimate King of Tokyo! Whether you're already familiar with the basic rules of King of Tokyo or have never tried it before, learning to play this title is a piece of cake. On your turn, you'll roll multiple dice up to 3 times, keeping the results you want with each roll. Depending on the symbols you roll, you'll attack, heal, advance along the two tracks on the board, or activate your monster's special powers. After the rolls, you can recharge your energy or buy power cards. To win, defeat your opponent's monster or advance far enough along the tracks on the board. Easy, right? Plus, the box includes six different monsters with unique powers and varying difficulty levels. Every game will be a different challenge!
