During a game of Nippon: Zaibatsu, you'll invest in new industries, build factories and railroads, and produce goods to supply local markets, all with the goal of increasing your influence and power to become the ruler of a modern nation.

You can choose your play style and winning strategy—how you'll score victory points, control the pace of the game through income turns, and compete for the most beneficial factories, markets, and bonuses. All the core mechanics of the original Nippon are present, but the components, artwork, and graphic design have been improved, and many game features have been redesigned to align with modern trends.

But Nippon: Zaibatsu is much more than Nippon!

Get ready for new types of resources, ships have been extensively revised with new Iwakura mission rules, factories are much more diverse, consolidation turns offer new rewards for players, and much more. In addition, the game now features an Automa-driven solo mode.
