You are in front of a cleft in the mountain - a new home for your tribe of dwarves. There is a lot of work to do and only two pairs of hands to start with. Soon more members of your tribe will be able to help you, but there is no time to waste now. A nearby tribe seems to be doing better than you.
So off you go! Enter the mountain, build room after room, collect turgid wheat and flax, and build supplies for your unstoppable advance. Search for precious metals and become richer than the other tribe could ever imagine!

About this edition
Cavern: Cavern vs. Cavern. Age I: First Wealth was originally released in 2016 and its expansion Age II: The Iron Age was released in 2018. This new "Definitive Edition" combines the base game and its expansion in a single box. We have slightly modified the components, but the rules of the original version have not been changed. This edition now also includes an extensive appendix that explains all the tiles and their actions in detail.

Includes solo mode.
