Concordia 8th Edition (Spanish / Portuguese)

Two thousand years ago, the Roman Empire ruled the lands around the Mediterranean Sea. With peace at the borders, harmony within the provinces, uniform law, and a common currency, the economy prospered and gave rise to powerful Roman dynasties that expanded to numerous cities.

Lead one of these dynasties; colonize the farthest kingdoms of the Empire; expand your trade network and please the ancient gods to gain their favor. If you plan your strategy properly, you can develop your dynasty and make it the most powerful in the Roman Empire.

In the game, colonists are sent from Rome to settle in cities that produce bricks, food, tools, wine, and cloth.

Each player starts with an identical hand of cards and increases them during the game.

The cards serve two purposes:

• Allow the player to choose actions during the game.
• Award victory points at the end of the game.

Each game is different, not only because of the new sequences of cards on sale, but also because of the modular arrangement of the cities. When all the cards have been sold, the game ends and the counting of victory points begins. The player with the most points wins.

Concordia contains a double-sided printed game board, on one side showing the entire Roman Empire with 30 cities and is recommended for 3 to 5 players and on the other side depicting the Italian Peninsula, Corsica and Sicily with 25 cities and recommended for 2 to 4 players.

Concordia is an economic development game for 2 to 5 players set in Roman times. The game does not leave much room for luck, so instead of relying on a good roll of the dice or drawing the right card, players must rely on their planning skills to develop the ideal strategy that will lead them to victory. Not forgetting, of course; observe and guess your rivals' next moves to ensure that they do not achieve their objectives while completing yours.
