Yggdrasil Chronicles is an immersive and captivating cooperative board game that playfully reinterprets Norse mythology. Of course, you can play single games, easily adapting the starting of these to the number of players involved. You can even play alone, following the instructions in the instructions! You can also play the advanced mode, which gives you access to enjoy some of the most complete options, but without having to maintain continuity between games.

But the real juice experience of Yggdrasil Chronicles is its fantastic campaign, which puts the whole Ragnarök into play. It's about playing at least 6 games, at least one for each saga, with a narrative continues. That is to say: the result of one of the scenarios affects the rest of the games, and the abilities of each God increase with each Saga.

For this we use two mechanisms: the Experience Tables (on the back of each Hero card), where we are told how our adventure hero progresses in adventure, and the additional components that must be added enemies and counters that represent progress of the event.

Of course, the ability to progress works both ways: if one of the worlds is destroyed in one of your games, it will continue like this and the villains will be closer to fulfilling their diabolical objectives. You may get new powers, but that does not mean that things will be easier.

Each chapter of the campaign is called "Saga", and consists of several different scenarios. All are detailed in the Book of Sagas, where you will not only find the rules that change between each episode: there is also evocative art and texts that will help inspire you.
