In the land of the immortals and eternally cursed. It does not matter how to get to the Mistlands for the first time, or what you have to do to escape; Even if you can leave your borders, the mist and its monsters will follow your footsteps. It is time to return to the ruin of what you fled and to shatter the chains that bind you to the dark realm of Waiqar the Immortal!

Rust Chains is an extension for the second edition of The Slope: Journey to the Darkness. In the exciting high-level independent campaign it contains, heroes must confront the villages and haunted Land of the Mist one more time. While facing the corrupt servants of Waiqar the Immortal, the heroes will have to seek a cure for their cursed state a horse between life and death. If they fail, condemnation is not death, but something much worse: an eternity of non-life.

This expansion can also be combined with Castrohiel's Mists (an extension and publication) to form a great two-act campaign. Together, the two expansions intertwine the stories into a single narrative.
