Ziterdes - Katapult

Despite the protective wrapping of the catapult bow with a thick rope, it hit hard when the throwing arm crashed against it.

The trajectory of the projectile was not quite right and Hugo, with his comrades, still pushed the catapult a bit higher on the heap of earth. He secured the siege engine against rolling back with wedges and together they cranked the throwing arm down again until they could hook in the safety hook...

The catapult didn't have the greatest range of all siege engines, but it was lighter and more agile and could also be used against advancing armies.

The catapult is suitable for use in historical and fantasy tabletop games.
