Turbulent times grip Rome…

In 59 BC, Gaius Julius Caesar, Gnaeus Pompey Magnus and Marcus Licinius Crassus, faced with the intransigence of the Roman Senate in the face of their particular projects and ambitions, sealed an unofficial political pact commonly known as the First Triumvirate. Thus was born a “three-headed Monster”, in the words of Varro, destined to change the course of the history of the Roman State.

Triumviratus is a flexible expansion of the ONUS! series that offers you the opportunity to take command of the armies of Gaius Julius Caesar, Gnaeus Pompey Magnus, Marcus Licinius Crassus and the civitates of Gaul, as well as an extensive selection of all-new allied and mercenary forces, to immerse yourself directly in the armed conflicts that changed the course of the history of Rome, Europe and the Near East between 59 and 44 BC.

The Allies box comes packed with hordes of new units of mercenaries, allies and vassals of the powers of the day, from all corners of the Roman world, ready to serve the highest bidder, their partners – depending on the winds of war and history – or their bosses, whoever they may be. Unwavering Hispanic Soldurii, agile Iberian Caetatri, the Massilian guards of the Numidian kings, Getulian horsemen from the North African deserts, Cantabrian warriors from the mountains of northern Hispania and even Cilician pirates are at the disposal of all the contenders of Triumviratus… and of all ONUS!! And many of these units are not exclusive to the 1st century BC. and the time of Caesar, but can also be used to reinforce your Hispanic armies on the battlefields of the Punic Wars, to shore up the multi-ethnic hosts of Alexander the Great's successors in the East, and even to provide Trajan and his general, Lucius Quietus, with the kind of North African auxiliaries and symmachiarii with which to sow terror in Dacia and Parthia. Mercenaries, after all, will fight for those who can pay the required amount of gold (points), right?…

CONTENT: 40 cards, distributed in 2 Massilian Guards, 6 Numidian Infantry, 3 Getulian Horsemen, 2 Numidian Elephants, 3 Cantabrian Warriors, 3 Hispanic Soldurii, 4 Iberian Scutati, 5 Iberian Caetatri, 2 Hispanic Nobles, 2 Cilician Pirates, 2 Rhodian Slingers, 2 Galatian Legionaries, 2 Balearic Slingers and 2 Numidian Cavalry.
