The map shows several places marked in red. With her glass of Bronx in hand, Marguerite Grant asks, "The new land looks good, doesn't it?"
“All this land is perfectly mineable, it may even be better than the previous one,” their engineers reply. Marguerite looks into the eyes of her assistants: Are you sure? Have you been there? Are the machines working? Are the pipes full of water?
“No… Of course not, but the reports are promising. Also, the government is making a big effort to help us.”
«I know exactly what they are trying to do, they want a monopoly on energy. That is why they gave us access to this new land. And all the new contracts? Another one of his moves.
The engineers stare at her: "Do you think it's possible to get a monopoly?"
Marguerite bursts out laughing: «Of course not! Nothing is going to prevent our rivals from reaching this land as well. However, while we anticipate our moves and the government provides me with the opportunity to earn more money, why don't we take advantage of the situation?
With a decisive wave of her hand, Miss Grant dismisses all her assistants, unfolds the map and orders another drink. He does not hide his smile or silence his thoughts: "This new land is big, but not enough for all of us...".
