Call of Cthulhu - Thresholds to darkness

Thresholds to Darkness provides five quests especially suited for Guardians and first-time Call of Cthulhu players. Here you will find horror, mystery, investigation, horrible monsters, strange sorcery and forgotten secrets, as well as a multitude of aids to direct in the best possible way.

In addition to the adventures, there is an essay by Kevin Ross that offers a wide variety of tips and advice on how to lead Call of Cthulhu, a guide that both novice and veteran Guardians will find very helpful.

• Darkness Under the Hill: A friend's project to renovate his house leads to unexpected discoveries in Providence, Rhode Island.
• Genius loci: All is not well at Danvers Sanitarium and it is up to investigators to respond to a request for help from one of his friends.
• Servants of the Lake: The search for a missing person uncovers old secrets in the woods north of Kingsport.
• Ties That Bind: Strange rock formations have been found in Mrs. Carrington's sumptuous fountain. But rocks like these have never been seen before!
• Curb The Blackness: The death of one of the Miskatonic University students leads investigators into nasty neighborhoods and dark illegal transactions.

Also included are ten different ready-to-play characters so that players can quickly immerse themselves in the mysteries contained in these Thresholds to Darkness. Finally, note that, although these adventures have been written with novice players in mind, do not think that they are a piece of cake!
