On Mars (KS Edition)

It's 2037, and the first settlers just arrived on Mars! The base camp is already established and, from now on and for the next fifty years, a group of brave astronauts from private space exploration companies are going to found a main colony run by a land organization, the ODEM (Organization for Development and Mars exploration).

As chief astronaut of one of the exploration companies, you will be a pioneer in the development of the largest and most advanced Mars colony, trying to meet the objectives of the ODEM as well as the hidden purposes of your company. By managing the transport and settlement of settlers from the land, you can explore, build, exploit mines, install energy networks and improve buildings. You will lead the construction and creation of farms in greenhouses, water purification plants, O2 factories, electric generators and mines. The goal of citizens on this new planet is to learn to value water, air and the things we need to live, above money; and, in the end, to become a self-sufficient colony, independent of terrestrial organizations. Will you dare to take part in the next great conquest of humanity?

In On Mars, players will be able to decide which ODEM objectives will be part of the game, how new land settlers will be distributed among the different colonies, and what tools and constructions the Earth must authorize and provide. The players will take actions in turns, and at the end of each phase the parameters of the colonies will be adjusted. You will have to take into account the energy costs of the buildings, and provide your settlers with water, food, O2 and shelter so that the population grows and you can turn your colony into the largest settlement in the new world.
