Dawn of the Zeds

Postcards from all local stores say "Welcome to fabulous Farmingdale!", An advertising campaign created by Mayor Hernández. But right now, things are far from fabulous in Farmingdale and, for once, no one blames the mayor. Some kind of virus or poison is turning ordinary people into cruel killer zombies. It is not known for sure how the disease spreads (although it seems that physical contact is undoubtedly one of the ways), but it is obvious what it does to victims.

These undead, called "Zeds" by local newspapers as the acronym for "Zombie Epidemic Disease", are now approaching Farmingdale. It seems that you are alone in front of them until the National Guard organizes a support column, but getting to you could take days, or even weeks, and what are you going to do until then?

You must lead the emerging citizens and heroes to halt the advance of the Zeds by (re) killing them, while trying to coordinate the discovery of a cure, and preserve as much of the area and its inhabitants as possible. There is no time to lose…


Dawn of the Zeds (Third Edition) is a cooperative board game where 1-5 players take on the role of heroes who must defend Farmingdale and its five neighboring towns from the oncoming horrors. These heroes are aided by civilians (some armed, some heroic) and the little help that comes from abroad. You will have to stop the Zeds' incursion, preventing them from reaching the city center or causing so much chaos around Farmingdale that the government leaves them to their own devices (and you with it).


This edition includes the expansions "one step ahead", "the novice's blues" and "rumors and railroads".
