Entre dos Castillos del Rey Loco Ludwig

The king demands a castle! You are a renowned master builder who has been commissioned by Mad King Ludwig (Ludwig II of Bavaria) to design his castles. Projects of this magnitude require the skills of more than one person, so you will need the help of another master builder to execute your great plan. Will your planning and collaboration skills measure up to such a venture? Will you be able to design the most impressive castles in the world?

The concept of Between two Castles of Mad King Ludwig arises from the fusion between two well-known board games, Between two cities and The Castles of Mad King Ludwig. Implement mechanics of both, combining them to achieve a unique game of strategy, in which each tile represents a room in a castle. You must collaborate with the player to your left to design a castle and with the player to your right to design another!

The game consists of two rounds. At the beginning of each round, you must draw 9 tiles and select 2 of them, which you will place face down in front of you, passing the rest to the next player. Each turn you must choose two tiles from your hand, reveal them and decide with your companions which one will become part of your castles.

At the end of the game the castles will be scored. Your final score will be that of your castle with the lowest score, and the player with the highest score will be the winner. To win you will have to give all your attention and effort to the two castles.

This game is designed for 3-7 players, but includes a 2-player variant, in which there is a "third player" named Ludwig, who will help both players build their castles.
