Set in feudal Japan, Rising Sun puts players in command of the great clans that powerful kami have gathered to reform the country and restore its honorable spiritual traditions. clan will use their unique abilities to spread their forces across the provinces, build their fortresses, harvest the land for their rewards, and wage war against each other. As the seasons turn from spring to summer to fall, players will be able to enhance their clans with strategic boosts, bountiful virtues, and even powerful legendary monsters to aid them in their cause. Clans would also do well to pray to the gods, as each kami could grant them powerful abilities. However, diplomacy can be an even more useful tool, as clans will forge mutually beneficial alliances and negotiate their way to victory. In this political realm, honor is worth more than gold, though betrayal can turn the tides of war. Battles are won not just through brute force, but with strategy and cunning. Choose your path to victory wisely, and your allies carefully. When winter snow covers the land, will you be the chosen one to rule the land of the Rising Sun?
