In the deep forests of the north, lives a charming tribe of elves known as Frogriders. Long ago, they were a tribe of fast and fearsome warriors who, on the back of their frogs, were capable of defeating armies of giants. But now peace reigns and every spring, in honor of their ancestors, they hold a tournament to determine who is the best tactician among them. As one of the best and cleverest among the elves, you and your companions have been summoned to the tribal pool. From its banks, you will command the four best squads of horsemen in a simulated battle. The one who manages to capture the most valuable horsemen and best use their special abilities will emerge victorious in this legendary tournament.

During setup, randomly place all different colored frogriders on each space on the board. The game takes place in a series of quick rounds in which you must make a jump with a figure of your choice, and catch the figure you have jumped on. After making the jump, you have the option to return any figure in front of you to the village, unleashing a special power depending on the color of the figure you return: you may want to make a second jump immediately, change one of your figures for another of a different color, or acquire scoring cards and special abilities.

As soon as a player is unable to jump during his turn, the game ends immediately and the player with the most trophies will be the winner. Trophies can be obtained in many ways: fulfilling the requirements of your secret card or those of the public scoring cards. By getting a lot of brown frogriders, by getting a lot of privilege cards, or by combining all the options. All the frogriders that you have been getting with your jumps will allow you to get trophies on all your cards if you manage to meet their requirement (for example, you could win 2 trophies for each pair of blue and yellow frogriders), or you may have a card that when performing a jump and landing on a flowering water lily will earn you points. In each game you will see the many options to get trophies.
