The Palaces of Carrara

You are in charge of a noble family and the Royal Palace has entrusted you with the task of beautifying six cities in the area. You will use the valuable blocks of marble extracted from the famous Carrara quarries to construct buildings, add decorations, place statues and enhance cities with the wonders of this material. On occasion, the Royal Family will come to assess and award you wealth and/or victory points (VPs) based on your progress. But be careful with the other families participating: if you can't keep up with them, you might be out of the competition before you know it. The family with the most VP will win the game!
