Raids, the board game of the Vikings... In Spanish!

Take command of a drakkar, a powerful and robust Viking ship, and take to the sea to discover the world, amass the greatest possible fortune and bring Glory to your clan.

Raids is a Eurogame-style board game with a family character; it can be enjoyed by children and adults from 10 years of age and the games do not usually last more than 40 or 45 minutes.

Each player controls a Viking ship. Throughout four trips, he will have to select as cunningly as possible where to stop to collect the most valuable tiles that will allow him to hoard the most Glory possible.

Get a large crew that allows you to fight against terrible monsters while you buy and sell goods, get batches of runes and equip your ship to the best of your ability. But be careful, because the rest of the players will do the same!

Every time two ships meet in the same place, a fight breaks out. Send your Vikings into the fight and kick your rival off your tile so you can keep it!

A few simple rules for a family eurogame

The mechanics of Raids are simple and facilitates the succession of fast and agile shifts. On each turn, the player who is furthest behind on the world map always starts playing. On his turn:

• Pick up the tile from the place where his ship is...
• And then advance until he reaches the ship that precedes him... With the peculiarity that before moving he MUST remove from the board the tiles that are between him and the ship that is ahead of him on the world map.

The games are divided into four trips. On each trip, the players move their ships trying to claim the tiles they prefer for their strategy. When all the ships have returned to the Pier, the journey ends and a new one begins. At the end of the room, all players add up their Glory points. Whoever has the most becomes the winner of the game.

There are several types of tile:

• Axes, which make fighting monsters easier
• Goods, which can then be sold in ports
• Audiences, to collect Vikings
• Monsters, that force a Viking to fight or sacrifice to be able to pass through them
• Sailing, which increases the ship's crew with each new trip
• Mjollnir, runes and banners that grant victory points at the end of the game
