More info

The little mice get excited every time they think of Quesilandia, a land full of all kinds of delicious cheeses. They have been looking forward to reaching this land since they began their journey. But there's just one problem: a hungry cat has found out about his plans and has decided to follow the mice. Will the mice be able to escape from the cat and reach Quesilandia?

In Mice on the Run, each player must guide their family of mice from the central burrow to Quesilandia, where succulent wheels of cheese await them. However, they must be careful and prevent the cat from hunting their mice! At first the cat will move more slowly, but this is just a trick to throw off the mice. As the game progresses, the cat will start moving faster and the game will be almost over.

Luckily for the mice, there are several burrows on the board to hide in. The closer one of your mice gets to Quesilandia, the better pieces of cheese it will get. At the end of the game, the player with the most cheese wins!

Mice Race is an ideal game for the little ones, winner of the prestigious award for the best children's game in Germany and many other international awards.

It stands out for its excellent wooden components, ideal for manipulation by children from 4 years old, and illustrations that attract children like cheese to our family of mice, which is nothing more than the objective presented to us, to accumulate as many pieces of cheese as we can before the cat gets us!

With this simple premise, a game is achieved in which each child will manage a family of 4 mice and, advancing with the dice rolls, they must decide whether to advance until they complete the route and reach the large cupboard where the best rewards are accumulated, risking so that the cat can catch us along the way, or stop at one of the burrows that we will find along the way, with less reward but which will prevent the mice from being caught by the cat.

Thus, children must draw up a short-medium term STRATEGY and optimize the use of their dice rolls and the different mice available to them, introducing the little ones to the concepts of respect for the playing turn, acceptance of the frustration when they see the cat catch their mice or the best way to optimize their rolls to get the best score, all in a game perfectly adapted to their age.
